Heirs of the Reformation, a study in baptist originsWhen W. H. Whitsitt published A Question in Baptist History (1896), the controversy over Baptist Successionism was already in full swing. McGoldrick has produced an excellent revisitation of this question giving a theologically sound and historically adjudicated presentation of Baptist identity and origins. ______________

James E. McGoldrick was a graduate of Temple University (BS, MA) and West Virginia University (PhD). He pastored a few baptist churches before teaching History and Church History at a variety of institutions: John Brown University, West Virginia University, Cedarville University and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. During his time in the Academy, Dr. McGoldrick tirelessly labored in the local church as a Stated Supply preacher and as a devoted adult Sunday School teacher. He had authored many books and articles for a variety of academic and church publications. Dr McGoldrick passed into glory in 2021 at the age of 85 years old.

______________

‘This was my first introduction to church history . I found it was an easy read. The author seems to be a careful historian, and he seeks to tell an accurate portrayal of history of the Baptists, and how baptists can be traced back to the reformation. Also, I was introduced to groups whose names I have heard thrown around loosely before, like the Waldenses and and Anabaptists. It’s wild to see what their beliefs were! McGoldrick does a good job showing a unbiased picture of these groups. Recommend reading if your interested in church history or Baptist history.’ Kyle McClitock

Does as intended. Easy to use and easy to drain once oil is changed.

A decent oil pan but would benefit from being larger
This oil pan works decently but would be much better if it were slightly larger. At the size it is it is easy to miss the pan and make a mess. The pan holds enough oil for a bike or lawnmower but not enough for a car or truck. The plugs screw on well and don’t leak from my use. But the pan has inner lips that hold oil and make it hard to clean, would be much better if it were a smooth surface. The pan is made of thick plastic though and is well built overall, it just could be designed better.
