CODE 23 MK II is the Horizon Series statement of Copper in its purest form. Built entirely from UP-OCC Pure Copper Litz, it preserves the conductor’s natural character without compromise—delivering weight, density, and a low-end foundation that is both powerful and solid.

The MK II evolution introduces three precise improvements: over 20% more conductive material for stronger signal delivery and dynamic headroom, a 10% reduction in overall diameter for improved ergonomics, and the Quad-FlexPro™ Solid Core system, which enhances frequency control and stability across the spectrum. Together, these refinements push performance further while retaining structural integrity.

CODE 23 MK II stands as the definitive expression of copper—focused, authoritative, and unmatched in its ability to project music with scale and presence.

Sound Profile:-

CODE 23 MK II delivers immense bass power, bold dynamics, and physical presence. A sound that hits with subwoofer-like impact while retaining balance and control. The low end is deep and commanding, anchoring the music with scale and authority.

The result is EFFECT AUDIO's most powerful expression of copper in the Horizon Series, crafted for the purest Copper fans.

What is Improved in MK II:-

1. 20% More Conductive Material
By increasing the strand count by 20%, CODE 23 MK II expands its conductive surface area , improving current uniformity and minimizing micro-resistance across the bundle. This refined geometry enhances transient accuracy and current delivery, translating engineering precision into audible control. Expect stronger yet tighter bass definition, cleaner high-frequency extension, and an effortless sense of dynamic coherence. The natural outcome of copper optimized to its physical limits.

2. 10% Reduction in Diameter
Despite the material increase, the cable is now slimmer thanks to the sleeve optimization. It keeps the same AWG size while improving overall flexibility and reducing bulk.

3. Quad-FlexPro™ Solid Core System
At the heart of CODE 23 MK II lies the third-generation Quad-FlexPro™ Solid Core System—an evolution of 2024’s Trio-Flex™ architecture and our pioneering 2023 Solid Core design. The central conductor now features four individually calibrated solid cores, each precisely tuned for its frequency role:

- One thick core for the lows, enabling superior current delivery and sub-bass authority
- One medium core for the mids, preserving tonal density and coherence.
- Two finer cores for the highs, refining transient speed and micro-detail retrieval.

This deliberately over-engineered solid-core architecture balances current flow and electromagnetic behavior, minimizing interference and mechanical stress across the frequency spectrum. Every structural choice is made to push copper to its physical limits, achieving greater harmonic stability, lower distortion, and exceptional phase alignment. This showcases copper’s natural warmth, revealed with unprecedented precision and control.

Quad-FlexPro™ embodies three years of solid-core evolution, representing Effect Audio’s relentless pursuit of perfection at its most precise, most powerful form.

Hardware Design:-

The Y-split of the CODE 23 MK II embodies a forward-looking vision of engineering. Machined from lightweight aluminium and finished in a soft metallic gold, its compact modular form takes cues from aerospace-grade connector housings and propulsion couplings.

Its dual-layer construction, defined by clean lines, chamfered edges, and geometric precision, mirrors the discipline of aerospace design. This is not a design built on ornamentation, but one that achieves elegance through structure, symmetry, and purpose: a visual expression of the same EFFECT AUDIO engineering philosophy that drives the cable within.

this is the book you’re looking for
Format: Paperback
I’d just finished reading Jules Gil-Peterson’s A Short History and felt a little unsatisfied and uncomfortable with all the orientialism. I picked this up and was immediately sure I had the antidote. Bhatt is clear, direct, and uncompromising. She avoids filler and gets right to the heart of things—“how is this not like blackface?” gets dealt with more thoroughly and decisively than I have ever seen it within the first few pages. She reveals the transmisogyny lurking in even nominally queer social and intellectual movements, and also finds pockets of beautiful solidarity and common ground in some surprising places. Above all, her love for women shines through every word. This book cleared up some misconceptions I had, made me cry, and will make me a better partner and comrade to trans women. Buy it.

Excellent essays in a brilliant book
Format: Paperback
This is a really excellent book. A lot of anthologies of essays have great essays in them, as this one does, but not all of them work as well as a cohesive text as Trans/ Rad/Fem does. I'd recommend this for anyone interested in transfeminism, even if you'd already read individual essays from Bhatt's newsletter by the same name. As with the essays in their newsletter format, The Third Sex and The Questions Has an Answer were my favorite. Bhatt's writing has such force and clarity that I look forward to reading whatever she chooses to write about next.

Absolutely brilliant
Format: Kindle
An absolute tour de force reckoning with decades of feminist scholarship and theorizing about trans feminine bodies and motivations. Succinctly and pithily describes the hegemonic culture’s understanding of transsexual women and demands an accounting from the hegemony’s enablers on their treatment of all marginalized queer and especially trans people.

Bhatt Writes Like a Freight Train Barreling Towards You
It's just hit after hit after hit. It's some of the punchiest writing I've ever read, conceived from a combination of a mastery over the written word and enough righteous indignation to burn a star out. Perfection. If you brought back Simone de Beauvoir today, after she stopped screaming at the sight of a computer, I think she'd thoroughly enjoy this. Rigorous and bracing as a read. Has its place in the modern feminist canon.
