Il comprend un réservoir étanche ultra-résistant, une plateforme et un plateau de semis compatibles lave-vaisselle, pour un nettoyage et une stérilisation faciles entre chaque utilisation. Le tapis capillaire, qui diffuse l'humidité selon les besoins des semis, est lui aussi réutilisable ; il suffit de le laver à la main entre chaque utilisation. Un couvercle de germination transparent maintient une humidité optimale pendant la germination. La plateforme supportant les alvéoles sert également d'éjecteur de semis.
