The Suunto Ocean is a dive computer and sports/fitness watch all in one! It draws on Suunto's extensive experience and heritage in building outstanding dive computers, compasses and outdoor watches! This watch comes straight out of Scandinavia and was built using 100% renewable energy!
The computer has been manufctured with some of the best materials on the market! It has a stainless steel bezel and sapphire crystal glass and a glass fibre reinforced polyamide casing. It weighs just 99 grams and is water resistant to depths of 100 metres (with a maximum operating depth of 60m)!
It can be connected to your smart phone and the Suunto App via Bluetooth to log your dives and has an integrated digital compass with tilt compensation!
In standard time mode, the battery will last up to 26 days and if mobile notifications and tracking are enabled, it will last up to 12 days (while not using training modes).
It can track your steps (and calories burned) and can track your sleep (REM, light sleep, deep sleep and HRV from sleep) and show your stress and recovery status.
In sports mode it has offline maps on your watch, uses 4 satellite systems simultaneously (with a maximum connectivity to 32 satellites) and has global heatmaps for 20 different sports (of a total of 95 sport modes). The integrated heart rate monitor can be used for many different sports, including diving, swimming, cycling, running and many others.
