Royal Models kits are built by our friends in the Czech Republic. We really like the price for performance ratio of these models.

The fuselage is fiberglass construction. The gel coat and layup work are very good and the fuselage has a good stiff feel in the hand. The fuselage canopy is also glass and comes from the factory with a reinforcement lip installed that provides stiffness to the canopy while simultaneously aligning the canopy with the fuselage.

The lifting bits consist of foam core wings with wood sheeting. The S3010 airfoil allows for a wide speed range and good flight characteristics. The wings have a high quality, solid feel to them; perfect for a slope machine or winching. Control surfaces are pre-cut and hinged, servo pockets are routed out, and all the electrical channels are pre-cut. The wing joiner tubes and pin alignment holes are also done for you, adding that much more value to this kit. All you need to do is a quick finish sanding and cover in white iron on covering, or you can put on a Urethane finish if desired. The balsa horizontal tail needs to be finished also, involving some sanding and covering as well.

Included is a good selection of hardware to complete the airframe; such as clevises, pushrods, control horns and servo covers.

This is a lot of kit for the money, especially considering the quality and quantity of work that has been done at the factory that the builder won't have to do at home.

10mm thick servos will fit in the flap and aileron pockets.

Now includes the canopy frame and clear canopy - much nicer!
