The Shield II Spinning Reel is engineered for peak performance and ultimate durability, this high-performance spinning reel delivers power and precision in any saltwater or freshwater environment. Built with an all-metal body and a watertight design utilizing 12 internal seals, it stands up to the harshest conditions and toughest fights.
Sizes 2500–4000 feature a lightweight graphite rotor and a digitally optimized A-Drive aluminum main gear for smooth retrieval and efficient power transfer. Larger sizes (5000–8000) are outfitted with a rugged aluminum rotor and a B-Drive aluminum brass main gear—offering added strength for battling trophy fish.
A sealed CF3 drag system ensures consistent, waterproof drag pressure, while 5+1 dual-sealed stainless steel bearings and a unique sealed anti-reverse bearing provide flawless operation under pressure. The braid-ready spool, machined handle arm with a non-slip round power knob, and convertible retrieve make this reel an elite choice for serious anglers.
