The Bugs Bunny stamp was issued in conjunction with a campaign to launch the U.S.P.S.'s "Stampers" program. As the official mascot of Stampers, it was hoped the animated character would help revive youth interest in the hobby of stamp collecting. A full-color, 12-page magazine was made available through the U.S.P.S. Philatelic Fulfillment Service Center for a limited time, as part of the Stampers program.
Since his big-screen debut in 1940, Bugs Bunny and his trademark greeting, Eh, what’s up, Doc have become fixtures of American popular culture.Best known for his uproarious performances in Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodie cartoons, Bugs also appeared in newspaper comics, comic books, and children’s books.
A character closely resembling Bugs was used during the late 1930s in several cartoons directed by Ben Bugs Hardaway and Cal Dalton.When designer Charlie Thorson labeled the character sheet as Bugs bunny, the wascawwy wabbit got his name.But it wasnt until 1940 that the character known and loved as Bugs Bunny made his appearance.The cumulative creative effort of several brilliant individuals, most notably Tex Avery, Friz Freleng, Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, and Robert McKimson, Bugs made his big-screen debut in Tex Avery’s 1940 short, A Wild Hare.Talented actor Mel Blanc gave a voice to the Brooklyn bunny.
During World War II, Bugs was enlisted to promote the war bond effort and was adopted as a member of the Seabees.Appointed Ambassador for the Stampers program by the United States Postal Service in 1996, the famous hare was honored with his own postage stamp in an effort to interest young people in stamp collecting.

No Scent and Gentle
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
I broke out in a case of Perioral Dermatitis recently and bought this product to help before I could see my doctor. Avene Tolerance facial cleanser has no scent and is very gentle on my skin. It didn’t burn when washing with this product, and even helped to slough off the dead skin around my lips. My face feels clean, not dry. I am still going to see my doc to get an RX for the inflammation, but I do believe this product helped to alleviate the dryness and tightness of my skin and lips. I’ve used other Avene products and I’m very happy with them. Even though these products are more expensive, to me they are well worth the money because they are much more gentle on the skin than any other products I’ve used. I will buy this product again just because of the fact that it’s so gentle. PS: at the time of purchase for this product, I also bought Avene’s Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Cream (you don’t need to use a lot of this one on your entire face), and Avene’s Cicalfate for lips. Between these 3 products, my lips and skin feel a lot better (however, I will still see my doctor because I have Crohn’s Disease and Perioral Dermatitis is considered an extra-intestinal side effect of Crohn’s).

Gentle everyday cleanser!
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
My go to nightly cleanser! Gentle yet effective. Removes makeup without leaving any residue behind. Also does not dry out my skin or cause breakouts! I would say it’s more of a cream cleanser though. It does not really foam up. It’s a decent size bottle for the price. The pump dispenser is an added plus!

This is so gentle and moisturizing. Does not irritate my skin in any way. My skin is super sensitive and I have atopic dermatitis, it has been the best cleanser I’ve used to date. I was using another one from this brand and it was fine but this is the one I will continually stick with from now on. Just hope they don’t change the formula.
