The unique characteristics of this ink are a result of innovative ink formulation techniques including encapsulated resin + nano-pigment technology and zirconium cut dispersion processes that ensure a picoliter size that is smaller than other UV inks on the market (thereby less likely to clog) while still balancing the right amounts of pigments to ensure a vibrant print. This is not a "clog free" ink, maintenance is still required as usual with any UV ink process.
The UV ink we offer is a waterproof ink, distinct from water or oil-based varieties. UV curing inks are uniquely formulated to stay liquid until cured by intense UV light, which cross-links the ink components into a durable polymer. These inks comprise four main components: monomers, oligomers, pigments, and photo initiators. This composition ensures a robust and resilient finish, ideal for various applications. The curing process provides excellent adhesion, scratch resistance, and vibrant colors, making UV inks a superior choice for high-quality, long-lasting prints.
UV inks are 99.5% VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) free, unlike conventional inks making it more environmentally friendly.
