This flex plate has been tested to handle over 2000 lb-ft of torque, or up to 3500 lb-ft with the addition of the BD Slip Eliminator shim kit. This flex plate is manufactured from forged billet steel, precision-balanced, and SFI approved for use in race applications, with double the material of the factory flex plate. This unit fits any stock and most aftermarket torque converter and are economical enough to replace with a converter or transmission swap. Black oxide coated to resist corrosion and avoid hydrogen embrittlement, which can cause cracking. This flex plate replaces the factory unit with a direct bolt-on replacement. Great for competition, towing, or daily driving!
