Bucked Up B.A.M.F. Preworkout is a straight-up, fully labeled high-energy formula that gets the basics right first, then adds brain and support stuff to make your workout feel sharper. It's not just about pumps, not a pure stim overload without muscle help, and definitely not for newbies. This is a stim-heavy pre anchored by two proven stars: 6,000mg citrulline malate 2:1 and 3,200mg beta-alanine, plus 333mg caffeine anhydrous and a targeted focus stack to ramp up your training.

That 6g citrulline malate 2:1 is a real dose. Citrulline turns into arginine better than taking arginine straight, which boosts nitric oxide through the arginine-NO path. You get better blood vessel widening, more flow, and nutrients hitting your muscles. In the gym, that means a solid pump, muscles getting more oxygen, and less of that empty feeling in long workouts. Beta-alanine at 3.2g is right in the proven range to boost muscle carnosine. Carnosine fights off the hydrogen ions that pile up in tough sets, slowing down that burning fatigue. It's one of the best-backed ingredients for intense efforts from one to ten minutes.

The energy side is bold. 333mg caffeine anhydrous wakes you up, cuts how hard things feel, and boosts power for most trained folks. Dynamine™ at 63mg brings a quick methylurate boost that works alongside caffeine, tweaking adenosine receptors and dopamine signals while stretching out caffeine's effects. It often feels like a focused push instead of a wild rush. Cognizin® citicoline at 125mg helps with acetylcholine and brain cell membrane work. It sits below the most comm

Bucked Up B.A.M.F. by Bucked Up contains 100mcg Vitamin B12, a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 6,000mg Citrulline Malate 2:1 — this dose makes it feel like a legit pump product, not just a weak add-in. Citrulline boosts nitric oxide better than straight arginine, opening up blood flow for that full, hard feel in your sets.
  • 3,200mg Beta-Alanine — a full, real dose, not some skimpy amount for show. It builds up carnosine in your muscles over time, helping fight off the acid burn in high-intensity work so you can push longer.
  • 333mg Caffeine Anhydrous — a solid high dose for folks used to stims who want that clear energy kick. Studies show caffeine sharpens alertness, makes efforts feel easier, and lifts performance when you're fighting central fatigue or low drive.
  • 63mg Dynamine™ — a smart add-on that pairs with caffeine without copying it. This methylliberine hits different receptors for a fast start and better teamwork, often giving a cleaner, longer energy wave.
  • 125mg Cognizin® Citicoline — a trusted brand from Kyowa Hakko with good backing and safety. It's under the big standalone doses, but it still aids acetylcholine and brain cell work as part of the focus mix.
  • 50mcg Huperzine A — a strong inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase that works in tiny amounts. It teams up with citicoline to keep acetylcholine around, boosting concentration, reactions, and that mind-muscle link in your workout.
  • 100mcg Vitamin B12 as Methylcobalamin — the active methylated version beats cheap synthetics for some folks. It helps energy paths and nerves, especially if your levels are on the low side.
  • No proprietary blends — everything's listed out with doses. In a market full of secret stim mixes and hidden pumps, this lets you check it against real studies honestly.

Who Is This For?

  • Bodybuilders in 8-15 reps chasing pump, fullness, and steady push in long workouts. 6g citrulline malate boosts flow and swell, 3.2g beta-alanine fights burn that kills high-volume sets.
  • Vet pre users past low-energy stuff, needing real kick for heavy after-work lifts. 333mg caffeine and Dynamine™ combo delivers strong start with smoother sustain than caffeine solo.
  • Lifters wanting energy plus sharp focus and mind-muscle on big moves or isolations. Cognizin®, Huperzine A, and N-acetyl tyrosine add brain boost over basic caffeine pres.
  • Hybrid trainers in circuits, sleds, intervals, or finishers where muscle fatigue hits hard. Beta-alanine's carnosine helps repeats in that 1-10 minute zone.
  • Morning crew needing one scoop for mental and physical prep. Covers wake-up, pump, and fatigue without picking between stim or pump focus.
  • Mid-level lifters on programs who want real dosing over hype. B.A.M.F. shows full doses on keys, teaching what good pre looks like.

How to Use

If high-stims are new or you haven't done 300mg+ caffeine lately, try half a scoop first. Full one has 333mg caffeine plus 63mg Dynamine™, so know your tolerance. Seasoned folks, go full scoop 20-30 minutes pre to let caffeine and focus build before real work.

Shake in 10-16 oz cold water—more for milder taste, less for punch. Empty stomach speeds it up; big meal slows it. Skip stacking with other heavy stims like burners or drinks unless you're counting caffeine. Pairs great with daily creatine, electrolytes for long hauls, and post protein or carbs. No need to cycle beta-alanine, but rotating stim stuff helps tolerance. Keep sealed cool and dry to avoid clumps.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: mix and sip, and if you're used to stims it's more about the wait than instant hit. Sits easy for most, but empty stomachs might feel it quicker.

Minutes 10-20: caffeine ramps, mind lifts, and 3.2g beta-alanine could bring that normal tingle on face, ears, hands, or shoulders—it's just the dose, nothing bad.

Minutes 20-40: prime time. Energy pushes, focus locks, and citrulline pump shows as flow and work build.

Minutes 40-90: stays solid for most, with Dynamine™ keeping it going better than plain caffeine.

Days 1-7: energy and pump hit now, but beta-alanine is building.

Weeks 2-4: beta-alanine's buildup shines, especially in repeats, finishers, or blocks where burn limits you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Bucked Up B.A.M.F. Preworkout Halloween Series?

Each 1-scoop serving contains 333mg caffeine anhydrous. It also includes 63mg Dynamine™, a methylurate that works synergistically with caffeine and can make the overall energy profile feel stronger and more sustained than 333mg caffeine alone.

Is the 6g citrulline dose in B.A.M.F. actually effective?

Yes. 6,000mg citrulline malate 2:1 is a serious pre-workout dose and sits right where many evidence-based pump and performance formulas begin to matter. It supports nitric oxide production, vasodilation, and the fuller training feel users expect from a real pump formula.

Will B.A.M.F. make me tingle?

Probably, especially if you are sensitive to beta-alanine. The formula contains 3,200mg beta-alanine, which is the clinically established daily dose and commonly causes a harmless tingling sensation called paresthesia.

Is this formula fully transparent or does it use proprietary blends?

It is fully disclosed. Every active ingredient and dose is listed, which lets you compare the formula directly against research instead of guessing what is hidden inside a proprietary blend.

How strong is the focus effect from the nootropic ingredients?

The focus profile is real, but it is driven more by synergy than by mega-dosing any one nootropic. Cognizin® citicoline, Huperzine A, N-acetyl tyrosine, caffeine, and Dynamine™ work together to support alertness, attention, and mind-muscle connection.

Is Cognizin® in this formula dosed at a full standalone clinical level?

Not by itself. Cognizin® is included at 125mg, which is below the 500-2,000mg range commonly used in standalone research. In this formula, it functions as a supporting nootropic ingredient rather than a fully built-out clinical citicoline dose.

Can I stack B.A.M.F. with creatine?

Yes, and it is one of the best pairings. This formula does not include creatine, so adding 3-5g daily creatine monohydrate complements the acute energy and pump effects here with phosphocreatine support for strength and repeated explosive output.

Should I use B.A.M.F. every day or only on training days?

Most users take it on training days only because of the stimulant load. That said, beta-alanine works through consistent daily intake and progressive carnosine saturation, so users who want maximum endurance benefit may choose to take beta-alanine separately on off days.

How does B.A.M.F. compare to simpler caffeine-only pre-workouts?

It is significantly more complete. A caffeine-only pre can wake you up, but B.A.M.F. also addresses pump with 6g citrulline malate, fatigue resistance with 3.2g beta-alanine, and focus with Cognizin®, Huperzine A, and Dynamine™.

Is this a good beginner pre-workout?

No, not for most beginners. The 333mg caffeine dose alone makes it too aggressive as a first pre-workout for many users, and beginners are usually better served by a moderate-stim or half-dose introduction before using something at this intensity.

Quality Control Issues
I want to like this dock, I really do. I purchased it with the intention of using it as a hub for my phone + usb-c external display. The pass-through charging never worked on this dock. Tried multiple cords and tested the dock with nothing plugged into any of the USB ports -- all of the power disappears somewhere onto the hub and the actual charge rate on my phone slows to a trickle. With nothing connected, it estimates >24hrs to charge from 30% to full. The plus side is that the usb ports do work, though the usb-c display went from 100% reliability to <50% within a few months of purchase. Extremely frustrating.

This is the one, buy it for DeX!
Looking for a compact USB hub to connect your laptop or Samsung DeX capable device? Buy this one! I've tried multiple similar items from name brands, and they work fine as a USB and port hub, but this one is able to support power delivery and display data through a single (capable) USB-c cable. I assume because it is noted to be capable of some combo of USB 3.2, PD 3.0 pass through and DP 1.4 alt mode. I'm not quite sure which one(s) make it possible, but it works for an HP Spectre laptop and Galaxy phone. Only improvement suggestion is to add an additional 10gb capable USB-C port in place of the three USB-A ports, but that's being super picky. Thanks StarTech for building another unique solution for connectivity challenges.

Usb-c passthrough started failing about a year into ownership.
This had the potential to be the perfect accessory for my M4 MacBook Air. It is very difficult to find dongles like this that support display passthrough via usb-c (meaning that if you have a usb-c display you can connect it to this and use the display). When it did work, I was able to power a triple monitor setup with my 2 port Macbook Air (with one display being driven by a displaylink adapter). If this product had continued to work as advertised, is would be a 5 star review. But after maybe a year of VERY sporadic use (I use this maybe once a week because my MacBook Air is not often docked) the usb-c passthrough is already failing. On a display I use every day with a different machine (a 16" MBP that has enough ports to not need any adapters) and the display and cable work perfectly fine there so I can only assume that it is this specific adapter which is failing. If I insert the connector several times, sometimes I can get it to work but my success rate just keeps dropping. There was no other reason to spend this much on an adapter that without usb-c passthrough offers just 3 usb-a ports like most much cheaper adapters. So to say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Expensive, but it works
The good parts: Yup, this works with DP alt mode, single cable use works for most devices I tried (steam deck, laptop, odin mini 2) even without the hub powered through the power in on the hub, I even got it working without external power to either the hub or my small usb-c monitor. However, some devices like my phone likely didn't give enough power for it to work without another power source. On my phone it worked for some usb devices without external power, but the dp alt mode didn't do work. DP alt on my phone works just fine with external power connected to the hub. Powering it with a small but powerful power bank worked fine, but lower power power banks might not keep up especially if the monitor isn't getting it's own power. It only takes a watt or two of power for the hub itself from some quick and dirty measurements charging my laptop through the pd-in on the hub. As for the rest of it, the three usb 3 ports means you should be enough to get by for any use case, though you may need more dongles or adapters to get the type of connections you need, but quite usable as-is for a lot of purposes. Basically it does what it says, there really is no other hub currently that can do pd alt mode, only big docks which need power supplies. The ok parts: *When it isn't powered* I noticed that with a monitor already plugged in, plugging it into a device would lead to the monitor not being initialized. But plugging the hub into the device first before connecting the monitor worked. No issue when it was powered. You can use this to get display out and charge with a Nintendo switch, but if it's not powered through the pd-in it probably wont switch to TV mode and output video, not sure if that's because of power or software reasons. This is a nitpick, but if you care about the feel or aesthetic it's noticeably bland. The case is plastic and there seems to be no weighting on the inside, it's very light, which can feel cheap but it's not like adding weights would functionally make it better, the case also has a bit of a harsh feeling where it's joined, but it does feel solid and durable enough. It's clearly function over form, just barely meets the minimum bar imo. The bad part: You already saw, but the price is a bit steep for a hub (at $80). I'd love to see it at 60 or even 40 instead, I hope more similar hubs pop up for competition. In summary: It does what it says, if you know you want this and what it is then get it, I feel like it shouldn't cost this much, but it's quite usable and for now it's the only option for a DP alt mode hub. Minus a half star each for subpar presentation and price 4/5

Great for AR Glasses
This USB hub has been great for me! It's taken me so long to finally find a stable setup to allow using my XREAL Air glasses, peripherals, and charger at the same time. I've used this both with my phone and ROG Ally and I have not once had a problem. I even found that my ROG Ally manages to get the full supported PD of 65W, as long as I power the hub with a 100W PD charger. That said though, using a 65W PD charger is still more than adequate to charge the device while using various peripherals and a USB-C display. Previously I used USB-C hubs with HDMI out and another device to merge the HDMI output with a USB-A connection into a single USB-C cable that I use for my AR glasses. This setup worked, but would increasingly stutter/freeze the longer I used it forcing me to constantly unplug and re-plug it in. In trying to find a solution that didn't split and merge back the display signal with USB data/power, this hub was the only one I found that wasn't thunderbolt 3/4. I will say that I wish the cable to the host device was either longer and less rigid, or shorter with an optional extension cable. An ethernet port would have also been nice, but using up one of the USB-A ports with a USB ethernet adapter works if needed. Plus, if I wanted ethernet with it, then a dock would probably have been a better option over a hub anyway.
