ABOUT THE ARTIST
Aleisha Webster is a ceramicist working on Ngadjuri Country (Barossa Valley, South Australia). Working primarily with local clay and reclaimed materials, she focuses on intuitive making, playful forms and a deep sense of connection to place. Through handbuilt vessels and expressive mark-making, she explores the space between strength and softness, between functional forms and playful art.
She established her Barossa-based studio, Goldie, in 2023, a space focused on sustainable practice and creative play. Aleshia has built a strong local following in the Barossa and an engaged online community who connect with her honest, playful approach to making. Her work invites play, celebrates imperfection and reflects the community that shapes it.
