Морг — це надзвичайно цікаве місце, особливо якщо це луганський морг. Ось чоловік, що пив собі шампанське, та раптом удавився червоною ікрою і помер; ось гопник із села, який їздив на мотоциклі без шолому, а в голову йому влетів птах, та так, що пробив череп; а ось професор, який запрошував на вечерю бомжів, а потім вони самі ставали вечерею.Усе це й трохи більше автор бачив на власні очі, ретельно записував історії трупів, а також живих людей, з якими працював. Санітари, водії, лікарі, прокурори, міліція, спочатку було весело, а потім у місто прийшли 'русскій мір' та війна. Трупів стало значно більше, а працювати стало складніше й небезпечніше.
