ELIOS is an abstract wooden game played in two steps, where the objective is to be the first player to get rid of all your sticks. At the beginning of the game, each player receives a number of colored sticks, with the exact number depending on the total number of players. The game unfolds in two main phases:

First, players use their sticks to create sets of 1 to 3 sticks in front of them. Then, on their turn, players have three possible actions:

Play a full set of sticks on the Sun.

Place a disc on the Sun.

Divide one of their existing sets into two smaller sets.

To play a set, specific rules must be followed: all the sticks in the set must be at the same level, and the set cannot be placed at a higher level than the current disc. The game is won by the first player to successfully get rid of all their sticks.

In a 4-player game, the game can be played in teams, adding an extra layer of strategy and cooperation.
