- Permits needle-free administration of bolus medications during infusion.
- Back-cut needle bevel and tapered end of the PTFE catheter allows easier insertion and minimises the risk of vein damage.
- Wing position reduces the risk of bacterial contamination by preventing any direct contact between the rear of the catheter hub and the skin. Utilising the wings, immobility of the catheter can be further insured by the application of the BD Veca-C™ and BD Veca-Fix™ IV dressing.

It's different. Not bad, but nothing special.
Color: Navy Melange, Size: XX-Large
The fit is good. I'd say medium weight. It's not quite as light as some of the microfiber pullovers I like to wear playing golf, and not quite as flexible. I'm not sure I like the decorative stitching. The stitching on the shoulders and along the sides makes it look like it's on inside out. Also, the material has kind of a paper feeling to it (for want of a better description). Overall it's decent looking, not a bad fit, not a bad feel, it just doesn't 'wow' me. Unless the price is better than it is now, and already having one, I doubt I'd buy it again.
Most of this is just my own opinion based on personal preference. The overall manufacturing quality seems very good. Someone else might think this is the nicest pullover they own.
