Why take a chance with a reproduction piece when you can get a quality GM part. The latch mechanism is for all 2-door sedan models including Impala, Bel Air, and Biscayne. Notice that there is a slight difference between the sedan and hardtop latches. Although you can interchange them, to this would require the correct rods and clips. The original clips are included and for an additional cost you can get the various door rods (lock release, lock tumbler, and door release mechanism rod).

LOVE THIS PRODUCT, would’ve gotten 5 stars but i threw it for my dog and it split in half on contact with the floor. It had lasted us well over 5 months, it’s not his favorite toy but he’ll pick it sometimes, i wouldn’t say it’s unsafe in half just don’t give the smaller parts!
