Need to move a big chicken coop without the heavy lifting? The Hen House Collection Hydraulic Wheel System makes it simple! This smart wheel kit uses hydraulics to lift and lower your coop with — no straining or struggling required.
What are hydraulics?
Hydraulics use fluid power to help lift heavy things with very little effort. When you push down the lever, it uses pressure to raise the coop off the ground. Then you can roll it wherever you want. When you’re done, step again to gently lower it back down. It’s easy, safe, and smooth!
This system is designed for larger coops, including these Hen House Collection models:
Q610C, Q68C, Q612C, Q714C, Q716C, Q718C, Q720C, Q728C, Q732C, Q1016C, and Q1018C. This wheel kit can be used on custom Hen House Collection coops with runs no larger than 10 x 28 ft.
The hydraulic wheel system is perfect for chicken keepers who want to move their coop to fresh grass without breaking a sweat. It gives your chickens new ground to explore while helping keep the yard clean and healthy.
How it works
In the parked position, the coop sits directly on the ground and the wheels tuck up alongside the frame. To move it, insert the lift handle into the pumping mechanism and jack the coop about 6 inches; as it lifts, the wheels swing underneath. Tow the coop with a tractor/UTV (or position by hand as needed). When you’re done, lower the coop back to the ground and the wheels return to the sides. The pumping mechanism stays permanently attached—no storing or winter covering required.
