I just placed it where I usually place their pads and it fits right in the spot. They are trained to go outside but on rainy days this comes in handy. You just lift up the grief top tray, add a pee pad and close... all done. If you get pads that are a bit too large, no oroblem, you can easily find them to fit into the tray. Quick clean up are with a wet wipes. For an occasional better clean... the whole thing can be washed in a bath yup or outside with a garden hose. Best of all, my pup seems to know exactly what to do with this tray! I would definitive comment and buy again. Actually, I have recommended it to several people.
