It can help to heal wounds, prevent break outs, fight eczema and psoriasis, reduce acne scarring, brighten dark circles and brighten skin. Since it has anti-inflammatory properties, Tumeric soap may help to help reduce blemishes, and heal the skin.
Turmeric has been used for centuries as an Indian health treatment for a number of skin and body issues. How does Turmeric work as a skin lightening agent for your skin? The curcumin in Tumeric reduces the excess melanin production and lightens your skin tone. Adding turmeric to your skincare routine can brighten your skin tone and reduce any kind of dark spots and pigmentation.
Studies have also shown that turmeric can reduce dark spots on the skin, also known as hyperpigmentation. One study showed a 14% reduction in hyperpigmentation after 4 weeks.
Because Tumeric can be a bit drying it is suggested that you follow using your soap with lotion (preferably by Sweet Harvest Farms)
Make sure you’re not allergic to turmeric before using it topically. Patch test any turmeric-based skin treatment by applying a small portion to your inner arm or wrist.
There is a risk of contact dermatitis. If you develop contact dermatitis, you may notice burning, itching, stinging, or soreness. flushed skin and inflammation. If this occurs stop using soap at once and contact your doctor.
Sweet Harvest Farms organic handmade Tumeric infused soap is made with Tumeric Tea and Tumeric powder within, Saponified Organic oils of Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Palm Oil (sustainable) along with Orris Root, Vitamin E, Rosemary Extract and organic Tumeric.
Each large 7 oz. bar will last 8-10 weeks in the shower!
