This next-generation smart speaker offers some impressive upgrades over the previous generation Sonos One. The E1 turntable from Pro-Ject offers the perfect introduction to the world of vinyl records, whether you’re starting from scratch or dusting down your old LP collection, the Pro-Ject E1 offers the perfect blend of sound quality and practical features. Built to Pro-Ject’s usual high standards, the E1 is solidly made, with a CNC-machined composite fibre plinth, aluminium tonearm and Ortofon OM5e cartridge. Unlike other budget record players that offer a fixed speed or require a fiddly belt change, the E1 has an electronic speed control, making it easy to switch between 33rpm albums and 45rpm singles.
