At the heart of the Shift LT is Sage's proprietary SGS sealed carbon drag system developed and sourced right here in the Pacific Northwest. Featuring redundant internal seals designed to block water intrusion and prevent internal corrosion the SGS system delivers smooth consistent drag performance in both freshwater and saltwater environments without compromise. The Shift LT is truly ready for anything you throw at it.
The One Revolution Drag Knob with 39 numbered and detented settings is one of the most intuitive and precise drag adjustment systems ever put on a fly reel. Every one of the 39 settings is accessible within a single rotation of the knob giving you fast reliable and repeatable drag adjustment even with a fish on the line.
