Gebruik
- Lokaliseer de lek in je tubeless band — zoek naar het voorwerp dat de band heeft doorboord.
- Verwijder het voorwerp en gebruik de Vortex-tool om het gat licht op te ruwen voor een betere hechting.
- Duw met het mini open oog gereedschap een bacon strip (tubeless plug) door het gat totdat beide uiteinden gelijk uitsteken.
- Trek het gereedschap snel terug — de strip blijft in het gat zitten en sluit de lek af.
- Schroef het CO2-patroon (met schroefdraad) in één krachtige beweging volledig vast in de TPC-2 om het zegel te doorboren.
- Druk de push-in pompkop stevig op het ventiel (Presta of Schrader) — je schroeft hem er niet op, maar drukt hem recht naar beneden. De CO2-toevoer activeert zodra de verbinding goed zit. Houd de pomp recht om gasverlies te voorkomen.
- Let op: het CO2-patroon en de behuizing worden tijdens gebruik ijskoud. Gebruik fietshandschoenen of een doek om bevriezing van de huid te voorkomen.

Wat zijn bacon strips en hoe werken ze?
Bacon strips — ook wel tubeless plugs of wurmen genoemd — zijn flexibele rubber afdichtingsstrips die je door een lek in een tubeless band duwt. Ze vullen het gat op en stoppen de luchtlekkage direct, zonder dat je de band hoeft te demonteren. De TPC-2 wordt geleverd met 5 strips van 4,3cm.
Werkt de TPC-2 ook bij tubeless banden met sealant?
Ja. Bij kleine lekken sluit de sealant de lek vaak al vanzelf. De bacon strips zijn bedoeld voor grotere sneden of gaten waarbij de sealant onvoldoende is. Gebruik de Vortex-tool om het gat op te ruwen voor een betere hechting van de strip.
Welk CO2-patroon past op de TPC-2?
De TPC-2 werkt met standaard 16g en 25g CO2-patronen met schroefdraad (threaded). Gebruik een 25g patroon voor grotere MTB-banden of tubeless volumes. Niet-schroefdraad patronen passen niet.
Past de TPC-2 op zowel Presta als Schrader?
Ja. De push-in pompkop werkt op zowel Presta- (racefiets/gravel) als Schrader-ventielen (MTB/stadsfiets) — geen losse adapter nodig. Druk de pompkop recht op het ventiel; je schroeft hem er niet op.
Kan ik de bacon strips nabestellen?
De meegeleverde strips zijn standaard tubeless plugstrips (4,3cm). Universele vervangingsstrips zijn verkrijgbaar bij de meeste fietswinkels en online. Controleer de breedte voor compatibiliteit met het open oog gereedschap.
Heb ik ook een handpomp nodig naast de TPC-2?

This is a solid everyday paper option that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
The packaging was good—everything arrived in perfect condition with no bent corners or damaged reams. It’s nice not having to deal with warped paper right out of the box.
