Als het licht in de schemering onder een bepaalde waarde komt, gaat het rolluik automatisch dicht.De zonnesensor PLUS kan alleen in combinatie met de Schellenberg timer PLUS worden gebruikt. De sensor wordt met een zuignap aan de binnenkant van het raam bevestigd op een afstand van 15 cm van het raamkozijn. De sensor wordt dan met een plug-in kabel op de timer PLUS aangesloten en de gewenste waarden voor de lichtregeling worden ingesteld.
