Er zijn verder geen kunstmatige geur, kleur en smaakstoffen aan de snacks toegevoegd en daardoor zijn ze een heel gezond tussendoortje. Door de harde structuur en het kauwen erop helpen ze ook de tanden en het tandvlees van de hond te verzorgen. Bovendien zijn de repen laag in vet, daar bij het produceren van kaas met yakmelk het meeste vet wordt verwijderd. Het vetgehalte is dus lager en het proteïne-gehalte hoger dan bij koemelk. Daarnaast wordt de lactose geminimaliseerd en is de kans op reactie op lactose veel kleiner dan bij koemelk-producten. Zo kan jouw hond naar hartenlust genieten van deze lekkere I Am Yak Kaas reep!
