Paolo Saracco Piemonte DOC Pinot Nero laat een andere kant zien van een wijnhuis dat vooral bekend werd met Moscato d’Asti. Deze rode wijn uit Piemonte is gemaakt van Pinot Nero en krijgt 12–14 maanden rijping in kleine Franse eikenhouten vaten en grote vaten. Daardoor combineert hij sappig bosfruit met een ronde, fluweelzachte structuur en een subtiele vanilletoets.

Wijngaarden en regio

Deze Pinot Nero komt uit Piemonte, in het noordwesten van Italië.

Ligging / Herkomst: De wijngaarden liggen in de gemeenten Castiglione Tinella en Castagnole delle Lanze, 2 plaatsen in een heuvelachtig deel van Piemonte tussen Asti en Alba.

Regio: Piemonte DOC geeft Saracco de ruimte om Pinot Nero in een fruitige, elegante en herkenbaar Noord Italiaanse stijl te maken.

Wijngaardbeheer: Saracco werkt op 50 hectare wijngaarden met aandacht voor duurzaamheid, natuur en de ontwikkeling van het klimaat door het jaar heen.

Vinificatie en rijping

De vinificatie is gericht op fruit, zachtheid en een lange afdronk.

Vergisting: De druiven vergisten in roestvrijstalen tanks. Dit helpt om het rode en zwarte fruit zuiver te houden en de wijn zijn frisse, fruitige basis te geven.

Rijping / Houtopvoeding: De wijn rijpt 12–14 maanden deels in kleine Franse eikenhouten vaten en deels in grote vaten. Die combinatie geeft rondeur, een lichte vanilletoets en extra lengte zonder de verfijnde fruitexpressie te verbergen.

Druivensamenstelling

Deze rode Piemonte wijn wordt volledig gemaakt van Pinot Nero.

Pinot Nero – Piemonte DOC: Pinot Nero is de Italiaanse naam voor Pinot Noir en geeft deze wijn zijn rode bessenfruit, zwarte bes, framboos en fluweelzachte structuur. In Piemonte krijgt de druif een elegante, ronde stijl met een fijne kruidigheid.

Proefnotities en serveertips

Dieprood in het glas, met paarse reflecties en een geur van blauwe bes, braam, framboos en een lichte vanilletoets. De smaak is rond en zacht, met bosfruit, fijne tannines en een fluweelzachte structuur. De afdronk is lang, fruitig en soepel.

Serveertemperatuur: Serveer deze Pinot Nero op 15–17 °C, zodat het rode fruit fris blijft en de zachte houtinvloed mooi naar voren komt.

Gerechten: Lekker bij vleesvoorgerechten, charcuterie, kruidige pasta’s, stoofgerechten, gevogelte en medium gerijpte kazen.

Great for the entire family but expensive
So far so good. The brand of boxers we had been buying changed their style and construction so we needed to find an alternative. These have held up well so far to multiple weeks of frequent washing and wearing from the entire family. We did size up from the usual 6/M we normally buy and ordered large to prevent the legs from rolling up which worked out great. Our daughter likes the length and how soft the fabric is for wearing under skirts and gym shorts and liners stay put without moving or leaking as another reviewer mentioned. Our son says they are comfortable and fit well being just supportive enough without being constrictive. We all agree that there seems to be not enough fabric in the back as they tend to be much tighter across the backside than the front and that also causes the waist band to ride lower in the back than the front. These have better seam placement than some brands we tried with no seam across the lady bits and no seam down the middle of the back side so they are more much comfortable but the cost is also much higher and that is why we're only giving it 4 stars. These will stay in the rotation until we find something cheaper that both us and the kids like.

These are by far the softest and most comfortable underwear I have ever owned. Breathable with nice thin fabric. Not bulky 4. Natural fibers 5. Great colors If you are a person that is not blessed with Thunder Thighs, please order these. They are great! I wear them at home and to locations that I will not be doing a lot of walking at. I have washed them so many times and they look like new still.
