Na de montage van de nieuwe remblokken is het belangrijk om ze te remmen, dit te verlengen. Volg de volgende stappen om de remblokjes goed in te remmen: Houd de remhevel lichtjes aantrekkelijk terwijl je rijdt en zorg ervoor dat de remblokjes de remschijf raken. Rijd ongeveer 100 meter met een snelheid van 25 kilometer per uur en rem aan het eind wat harder om de snelheid terug te brengen tot circa 5 kilometer per uur. Vervolgens kun je langzaam de snelheid verhogen terwijl je lichtjes remt. Herhaal dit 10 tot 12 keer om ervoor te zorgen dat je nieuwe remblokjes goed ingeremd zijn.
