Het is een permanente kleur, niet een semi-permanente zoals meestal wordt gebruikt om te denken over de kleur zonder ammoniak.

De prestaties zijn te danken aan een speciale formuleringstechnologie, waarbij de molaire concentratie van de kleurstof gelijk is aan de som van de molaire concentraties van de kleurstoffen. Op deze manier zijn er geen moleculen van kleurstoffen vrij, waardoor de mogelijkheden van irritatie worden beperkt, naast het feit dat het volledige potentieel van de kleur tot uitdrukking komt.
