The Bigs 2 is namelijk een honkbalgame waarbij alles lekker overdreven is. Hoewel The Bigs 2 beschikt over de officiële Amerikaanse Major League Baseball-licentie en er dus echte legendes in de game verwerkt zitten, beschikken spelers over speciale krachten om de game zo zijn eigen sfeer mee te geven.

In het verhaal, de Become A Legend modus, moet jij je als speler weer helemaal uit een diep dal omhoog werken. Je hebt een ernstige blessure gehad waardoor je weer helemaal terug bij af bent. Het is nu jouw taak om jezelf weer omhoog te slaan en gooien naar de Major League Baseball!
