Het is aan te raden de lampen regelmatig aan te zetten, dit verlengt de levensduur en we kunnen langer genieten van de weldadige effecten. Lampen worden heel weinig in de tijd verbruikt, maar lampen die door vocht zeer zelden worden gebruikt, kunnen in korte tijd vergaan.
