De 3M™ Cubitron™ II Schuurband 984F is ontwikkeld voor maximale prestaties bij intensief industrieel slijpwerk. Dankzij het unieke 3M Precision Shaped Grain snijdt deze schuurband razendsnel en met minder warmteontwikkeling door metaal.

De keramische korrels zijn elektrostatisch gevormd tot scherpe driehoekige punten die werken als afzonderlijke snijgereedschappen. Tijdens het slijpen breken kleine stukjes van de korrel af, waardoor steeds nieuwe scherpe snijkanten ontstaan. Dit zelfslijpende effect zorgt voor een langdurig constante snede, minder slijpdruk en een aanzienlijk langere levensduur dan conventionele keramische schuurbanden.

De geïntegreerde slijphulpstof vermindert warmteopbouw en helpt brandplekken te voorkomen, zelfs bij middelhoge tot hoge druk. De sterke stoffen drager met duurzame lasverbinding maakt deze band geschikt voor zwaar industrieel gebruik.
