Kraunema bevat nematoden ter bestrijding van de larven van taxuskever. Kraunema wordt curatief toegepast. Buiten kan Kraunema gebruikt worden in maart-april en augustus-november. In een kas of binnen (orangerie) kan Kraunema het hele jaar gebruikt worden omdat de larven ook het hele jaar in de grond aanwezig zijn. De grond moet vochtig zijn en een minimum bodemtemperatuur van 5°C hebben. De ondergrond moet vochtig blijven gedurende 2 à 4 weken na de toepassing. Niet toepassen in volle zon. De nematoden dringen de larven binnen via natuurlijke lichaamsopeningen om vervolgens bacteriën - waarmee ze in symbiose leven- uit te scheiden in de gastheer. De bacteriën zijn dodelijk voor de larven. De larven verkleuren lichtgeel en sterven binnen 2 dagen af. De nematoden vermenigvuldigen zich in de dode larve waardoor een nieuwe generatie ontwikkelt die op zoek gaat naar nieuwe prooien. Voor 10 m2. Het product kan minimum 1 week bewaard worden op 5°C, te gebruiken voor de vervaldatum.

Om ervoor te zorgen dat de nuttige insecten veilig en in goede conditie aankomen, worden ze altijd in een apart pakje verzonden. Het kan dus zijn dat je bestelling in meerdere delen wordt geleverd.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
