De brieven komen van zijn kleurkrijtjes, die staken. Zwart wil voor meer dan alleen de lijntjes worden gebruikt en Beige wil niet meer in de schaduw staan van Bruin. Blauw heeft behoefte aan rust na alle rivieren, oceanen en luchten waaraan hij heeft meegewerkt. Ook Rood klaagt dat hij te veel moet doen, terwijl Roze juist graag eens wat vaker ingezet zou willen worden. Kan Teun zijn krijtjes kalmeren en een oplossing bedenken waar iedereen blij mee is?
