Met frontispice; compleet met alle prenten: kopergravures met het portret van Michiel de Ruiter, zes zeeslagen, de begrafenis van De Ruiter en het grafmonument van de admiraal. 

Originele kalfsleren band met ribben. Goudbestempeling op de rug en platten. Slijtage en beschadigingen aan de rug, de knepen en de hoekjes zijn op professionele wijze hersteld (zie foto's).

Gerard Brandts beroemde levensbeschrijving van Michiel Adriaansz. de Ruyter (1607–1676), waarin niet alleen het leven van de admiraal wordt behandeld, maar ook de geschiedenis van de Republiek vanaf 1562.

This is an incredibly sharp looking suit for the little guy. Great price and features, too. I made a mistake in sizing up instead of down and first one was too sloppy on him and would need alterations. He is thin and very thin in the waist. There is a lot of adjustment with buttons in waistband and coat hides the bunching. This shirt and coat will easily take a fuller body than slim I believe.
