De Audiolab D9 represents a major step in the evolution of digital audio conversion, building on the heritage of the acclaimed M-DAC series. Featuring the ESS Sabre32 ES9038PRO DAC, the D9 delivers an impressive combination of detail, dynamics and musicality. High-resolution support up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM, DSD512 and full MQA decoding allows you to listen to digital music in full studio quality, whether via a computer, streaming service or USB storage.
The design combines advanced technology with flexibility. HyperStream II architecture and jitter elimination ensure a spacious and true-to-life soundstage, while five adjustable filters and optional upsampling further refine the listening experience. In addition to extensive digital inputs, including USB, coaxial, optical and AES/EBU, the D9 also offers digital outputs and high-quality analogue connections via balanced XLR and RCA. Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD and LDAC adds wireless capability without compromising sound quality.
The powerful headphone amplifier with current-feedback technology makes the D9 suitable for a wide range of headphones and offers a convincing listening experience, even in personal setups. The solid aluminum chassis ensures shielding and durability, while the clear 2,8” color display in combination with the remote control offers intuitive and accessible operation.
