De hoofdpersoon en verteller, Asle, is een schilder, een weduwnaar, woonachtig in het huis in Dylgja, waar hij samenwoonde met zijn vrouw Ales. Hij woont alleen, zijn enige vrienden zijn buurman Åsleik, een vrijgezel en een traditionele Noorse vissersboer, en Beyer, een galeriehouder die in Bjørgvin woont, een paar uur rijden ten zuiden van Dylgja. In Bjørgvin woont nog een Asle, ook schilder. Hij en de verteller zijn dubbelgangers - twee versies van dezelfde persoon, twee versies van hetzelfde leven. De ontmoeting tussen de twee is een brandpunt van dit fictieve universum. Het leven van de hoofdpersoon wordt verteld in flashbacks, net als het grootste deel van het leven van zijn naamgenoot. Maar het past allemaal in elkaar, omdat de twee er eigenlijk één zijn. De belangrijkste gebeurtenissen van de roman vinden plaats binnen een paar dagen in december, rond Kerstmis, en omvatten diepgaande vragen over onze menselijke omstandigheden, over ons leven, onze relaties en onze overtuigingen.Shipping Notes

Disappointed
It arrived on time and as advertised. I actually ordered 2 of the Playology toys and my boy did not like either. Total waste of $40 for the 2 toys. The toys are did not smell(to me at least) like the scent they advertised and my boy is sooooo food motivated and such a chewer that I was sure he would love these. Hasn’t touched them since the day I gave them to him. Very disappointed.

My 2 German shepherds love these good quality last a good bit

I buy these for my 2 German shepherds. My male is a heavy chewer and he will spend time with this everyday until he starts to wear it down or makes it into a makeshift shank and I replace it
Last about 3-4 months for aggressive chewers. Highly recommend (keeps them from chewing my stuff)

The best bone you can get for pitbulls!

Can I give these more than five stars? Please?? They truly deserve more than that! I have bought these bones for the last 2 years for my pitbull mix, who is a very aggressive chewer. Her favorite thing to do is just lay and chew. These bones last FOREVER! She can lay there and chew all day long and they will last her MONTHS! It’s honestly amazing! These are the best bones we’ve ever given her and they are the only ones we’ll buy her! Not only do they last forever, they’re safe and natural too! Best product ever!
