The Blue Stare is een mixed media compositie op canvas uit de Twiggy-serie. De basis vormt de iconische foto van 16-jarige Twiggy (Dame Lesley Lawson) door Barry Lategan uit 1966.

Het beeld is gespiegeld, geprint en op canvas overgebracht. Ruw gescheurd papier geeft het werk een verweerde, posterachtige uitstraling.

De achtergrond bestaat uit meerdere lagen acrylverf, waarbij verf wordt toegevoegd, verwijderd of bewerkt voor extra diepte en textuur. Het portret is afgewerkt met potlood, pastels en olieverf. Donkere lijnen en littekens over de linkerzijde van het portret versterken The Stare en creëren een krachtige visuele impact.

This is a usual product for me, I like and trust it. It has little smell, spreads on easily and can be washed off without too much trouble. The pump is nice while it works but I take away one star because it leaves about 20% of the product in the bottom of the bottle when the "cone of depression" gets lower than the bottom of the tube that brings the product up. After the pump can no longer effectively pump the product up, I cut the top of the bottle off and dip the rest out with my fingers. I'm not sure what they can do to make it work better but it's inconvenient as it is.
