De Jura uit het Solidfloor Specials assortiment is een eiken strokenvloer afgewerkt met een naturel gekleurde oxidatieve olie. De vloeren uit de Hand Scraped serie zijn te herkennen aan het glooiende oppervlak. Dit komt omdat de vloeren zijn handgeschraapt. Deze bewerking, tezamen met de borsteling van het hout, komt prachtig tot uiting in strijklicht. Doordat het schrapen met de hand gebeurd is iedere plank nét iets anders, iets wat de vloer uniek en persoonlijk maakt. Naast het kenmerkende glooiende oppervlak van de Jura is de vloer ook te herkennen aan de rijke kleur. Dit komt omdat de vloer tevens is gerookt. De uitgeboede knoesten zorgen voor een extra 3D-effect. Deze steken net iets boven het oppervlak van de vloer uit waardoor dit effect mettertijd wordt versterkt. De vloer heeft een totale dikte van 15 mm inclusief hoogwaardige 4 mm eiken toplaag. Door de Rustiek+ houtselectie, waardoor er meerdere en grotere knoesten worden toegestaan dan in de Rustiek of Mill Run selectie, krijgt de vloer zijn levendige uitstraling. Door de vloer periodiek te onderhouden met Solidfloor Natural Hardwax Olie blijft de vloer langer mooi en kan deze jarenlang mee. Kortom, een kwalitatieve eikenvloer met maar liefst 25 jaar garantie.

Two Filters, Quick and Easy

The RVgolf Engine+Cabin Air Filters Kit for the Toyota Tacoma V6 comes with two air filters. There is a cabin air filter that fits nicely into the compartment accessed through the glove box and an engine air filter that dropped in easily in the compartment under the hood. Replacement of both filters was easy, didn’t require any tools, and it took more time to empty and replace the items in the glove box than it did to replace both filters. The Toyota dealership quoted me $80 to replace the cabin air filter only. I replaced both filters for less than $30. The filters felt like they were good quality. The engine air filter is multi-layered, with a thin foam layer to keep larger debris from blocking the finer paper filter. The cabin air filter said and looked like it had a carbon layer to absorb smells. The only concern I had was size. After I had replaced both filters I went to slide the engine air filter I replaced into the RVgolf box to throw it away. The engine air filter I replaced would not slide into the RVgolf box. It was too big. After driving for a few days and a couple of hundred miles, I popped the hood and checked the fit of the engine air filter. The fit looked perfect. See attached photos.
