Over deze scholing  
Deze e-learning is ontwikkeld voor verpleegkundigen, verzorgenden IG, studenten verpleegkunde en geneeskundestudenten die betrokken zijn bij stomazorg. Wondzorg is een belangrijk onderdeel van verpleegtechnisch handelen. In deze e-learning leer je hoe je de peristomale huid systematisch beoordeelt, veelvoorkomende huidproblemen rond een stoma herkent en passende eerste interventies kiest. De nadruk ligt op wondzorg rond de stoma: observeren, klinisch redeneren, de huid beschermen en tijdig opschalen wanneer dat nodig is. Je werkt daarbij volgens vaste stappen uit protocollen en richtlijnen.

Wat leer je?  

  • Wat is peristomale huidzorg?
    Je leert waarom de huid rond een stoma extra kwetsbaar is, hoe je een gezonde peristomale huid herkent en waarom systematische beoordeling klinisch relevant is.
  • Symptomen en alarmsignalen
    Je leert veelvoorkomende peristomale huidproblemen herkennen, zoals mechanische schade, contactdermatitis, maceratie, candidiasis, folliculitis en allergische reacties. Je oefent met het onderscheiden van verschillende huidbeelden en leert welke signalen wijzen op een complex probleem of medische complicatie.
  • Diagnostisch traject en beoordeling
    Je leert de peristomale huid systematisch beoordelen, huidveranderingen koppelen aan mogelijke oorzaken zoals lekkage, output, materiaalkeuze of stomacomplicaties, en je bevindingen zorgvuldig rapporteren.
  • Behandelopties en zorgstrategieën
    Je leert passende eerste interventies kiezen om de huid te beschermen, verdere schade te beperken en de juiste hulpmiddelen in te zetten. Ook leer je wanneer opschaling naar de stomaverpleegkundige of arts nodig is en hoe je patiënten gericht voorlichting geeft over zelfzorg en huidbescherming.
