De zaklamp beschikt over een hoogwaardige geanodiseerde aluminium constructie, deze oogt niet alleen aantrekkelijk, maar is ook nog eens erg robuust. Door aan de kop van de Inspector te trekken gaat de body open en wordt het werklamp gedeelte zichtbaar, hiermee kun je een locatie 360 ° verlichten. Op de achterzijde zit een magneet zodat deze lamp aan metalen oppervlakten opgehangen kan worden. De lamp is oplaadbaar (het wordt geleverd met een micro USB naar USB laadkabel) en geeft aan wanneer de lamp vol is door middel van lichtsignalen (rood = aan het opladen, blauw = volledig opgeladen). Door het Flex-Power systeem kan deze lamp ook gebruikt worden met 2x AAA niet-oplaadbare alkaline batterijen. De lamp kan zowel in de hoge stand (knop eenmaal indrukken) als in de laagste stand (knop vasthouden) aangezet worden. Verder kan de turbostand bereikt worden door de knop vast te houden als de lamp aan staat, de strobe stand wordt bereikt door de aan/uit schakelaar 2 maal snel in te drukken. De lamp is IPx7 waterdicht en wordt geleverd met een omkeerbare draagclip.
