De Acer buergerianum of Drietandesdoorn (Trident maple) is een boomsoort die veelvuldig voorkomt als bonsai. Wordt veel vanuit Japan en Korea ingevoerd in Europa. Het is een forse groeier, gemakkelijk in opbouw, die van zichzelf een redelijk klein blad heeft en die de herfst ook mooi verkleurd. Sommige Acer buergerianums verkleuren rood-oranje in de herfst en andere soorten botergeel. De Japanse varieteit heeft een bleke schors en licht groener blad tegenover de Koreaanse varieteit, die heeft een donkerder bast en donderder groen blad. De boom laat zich uitstekend bedraden, u moet wel opletten dat het draad niet te veel in de bast groeit door zijn forse groei.

Definitely Not Unflavored. This is Tart / Sour, Which Limits the Options to Certain Juices

I was expecting an unflavored fiber powder. However, expect a sour/tart taste. This means you can't add it to tea or coffee. I don't think it is appropriate to say that it is "unflavored" as I've had psyllium husk from other vendors that are truly "unflavored" (i.e. no citric acid). Dextrin (another fiber source) is also unflavored. But this Metamucil is tart (like sucking a lime) and can only be added to tart juices like orange juice or lemonade.
