Psylliumvezels, afkomstig van de zaden van de Plantago ovata (vlozaad), zijn rijk aan oplosbare vezels. Deze vezels nemen vocht op en vormen een zachte massa. Psyllium wordt al eeuwenlang traditioneel gebruikt als aanvulling bij de voeding, vooral vanwege de rol die vezels spelen binnen de spijsvertering en een gezonde leefstijl.

Elke dagdosering van drie capsules levert ruim 1000 mg psylliumvezelpoeder.
