Discover the profound insights within 'White Flight' by Kevin Kruse, a pivotal work on American racial politics. This essential trade paperback, published by Princeton University Press in 2007, delves into the transformative phenomenon of white flight during the civil rights era. Kruse meticulously explores how Atlanta, once dubbed 'The City Too Busy to Hate,' became emblematic of racial tensions as many white residents migrated to the suburbs in search of segregated communities. This movement wasn’t merely geographical; it signaled a critical shift in political ideologies, reshaping the landscape of modern conservatism. Through careful analysis, Kruse reveals that white flight served not only as a reaction to civil rights advancements but also as a catalyst for new conservative movements, including tax revolts and privatization policies. With an ISBN of 9780691133867, this brand-new paperback is an indispensable resource for anyone seeking to understand the complexities of race relations and political culture in America. By challenging stereotypes and providing a nuanced perspective, 'White Flight' invites readers to reconsider the legacy of segregation and its lasting impact on contemporary society. Join Kruse in his profound examination of the historical journey from overt white supremacy to subtle suburban conservatism. Order your copy today to engage with this crucial narrative in postwar American history.Shipping Notes

Simple, fragrance-free base lotion that plays well under sunscreen
Size: 18 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I bought this as a moisturizing base before beach days, on my dermatologist s-style routine: at home I apply this lotion first, let it sink in, then tanning cream, and then layer broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF) on top. The goal was an even, soft, brown tan without that tight, dry feeling after sun and salt. In this role, it worked well for me. I didn’t finish the bottle over the season, and now I use it after the shower as my everyday body lotion.
Why I chose it (and what actually “works” here):
It’s fragrance-free and non-comedogenic, so it’s basic and gentle.
The key active is colloidal oatmeal, a classic skin protectant that helps soothe and support the moisture barrier.
Value for money was the clincher: a big bottle, simple formula, no extras I don’t need.
Real-life notes from first use:
It’s not ultra-rich (don’t expect a heavy occlusive butter), but as a daily hydrator or under-SPF base, it’s reliable and comfortable .The texture is fast-absorbing and non-greasy on my slightly dry skin.
So, a straightforward, affordable oatmeal lotion that kept my skin calm under sunscreen in summer and now does the job after showers. No complaints—just a workhorse moisturizer that earns its keep.

Our go-to moisturizing lotion. Great price, and the best lotion we've used. And not fragrant!
