Ideal for discreet indoor surveillance, this ultra-compact dome sensor offers outstanding 4K image quality, wide-angle 110° horizontal field of view, and good performance even in challenging light.
High image quality
Part of AXIS F Modular Camera Series, this ultra discreet dome sensor offers excellent 4K image quality even in challenging light conditions. With a 110° horizontal field of view, it’s perfect for wide-area coverage and delivers a high level of detail needed for forensic analysis. When used with AXIS F91 main units, it also supports Forensic WDR to ensure clarity when there’s both dark and light areas in the scene.
Discreet sensor unit
Ultra-compact in design, this dome sensor blends discreetly into any indoor environment—ideal for retail, banking, and similar applications. Plus, the cover can be repainted in any color to blend in with the surroundings. Based on a divided network camera concept, AXIS F4108 is designed for use with AXIS F Modular Camera Series and connects to the main unit using a detachable cable. So, the two parts can be placed separately from each other, up to 30 m (98 ft) apart. And because it's so small, you can place this sensor unit practically anywhere. This ensures discreet and flexible installation for unobtrusive surveillance.
Flexible installation
AXIS F4108 offers easy and flexible installation. With various sensor units available, it can be combined with up to three other sensor units within AXIS F Modular Camera Series for great flexibility. And thanks to the cable options, you can spread out the sensors from the main unit for large area coverage. When maintenance or upgrade is needed, the cable can be left in place. So, you can quickly remove the sensor unit and update or replace it as needed. Furthermore, AXIS F4108 offers an operating temperature range from -20°C to 40°C (-4°F to 104°F). This allows installations in a wide range of indoor environments without worrying about temperature-related issues.
