If you're looking for the real deal, the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue absolutely has you covered. Following in the path and reputation of one of the world's most beloved and coveted electric guitars, this Epiphone "Inspired by Gibson Custom" model takes its inspiration from a pretty famous source – the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard. This Epiphone model brings together much of what makes the 1959 Les Paul Standard so compelling, and for that, we can't help but be grateful.

There's quite a bit to explore with this "Inspired by Gibson Custom" model that you might find familiar if you're a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard fan. This all starts out with a genuine mahogany body taking the classic Gibson Les Paul single-cutaway form. A AAA flamed maple veneer top matches with this genuine mahogany for an effortless balance of warmth and brightness – the kind you know and love from the Les Paul.

While original 1959 Les Paul Standards were constructed similarly to their 1960 brethren, a key distinction was their shape of their necks. The "Inspired by Gibson Custom" model drops in with a one-piece mahogany neck taking that cue. A one-piece mahogany neck lands on this Epiphone in a 1959 Rounded C Medium profile, filling the hand with a chunkier, vintage-inspired grip. Along with this neck, a bound rosewood fingerboard joins in on the equation for fast and fluid fretting across twenty-two frets.

For its voice, this Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue introduces its star players. Two American-made Gibson Custombucker humbucking pickups with Alnico 3 magnets get in formation for summoning authentic Gibson humbucking warmth and breath for matching with any player's sensibilities. Hand-wired to CTS potentiometers and Luxe Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors, these pickups offer great versatility and expression as they invite players to mix through their spectrum of voices.

Hardware makes this guitar even more marvelous. Onboard, a GraphTech nut and Epiphone Deluxe Single Ring tuning machines with keystone buttons meet past the Gibson-style "open book" headstock. At the scale's opposite end, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge matches with a historic-style aluminum tailpiece for grounding strings stably and insuring fluid and responsive playing. An Epiphone brown hardshell case travels with this "Inspired by Gibson Custom" model.

As a throwback to one of Gibson's timeless classics, this Epiphone "Inspired by Gibson Custom" model is an honest and authentic representation of Gibson's iconic Les Paul Standard fitted for anybody.

Entertaining and helpful lessons
Format: Hardcover
My family loves this book. Used to read it to my daughter as a young girl and now she’s a teen. We still talk about the lessons learned in this book! The characters and illustrations crack me up: Smash, rip and ruin taught us a lot! And the ones without hands and noses! I couldn’t believe how long ago this book was written when we got it- all lessons still applicable today.

Fun Way to Teach Manners
Format: Hardcover
This book was one I read to my daughters when they were young and I am now reading it to my grandsons. I plan to read it to my fourth grade class, as well.

... over with my 3yo and 5yo boys but they loved it!
Format: Hardcover
I wasn't sure how this would go over with my 3yo and 5yo boys but they loved it!! They always enjoy pulling it out and now I can refer back to the characters to remind them of their manners in a more positive way. The only thing is I kinda wish they had used a different animal than pig, since for some reason I don't like saying "don't be like the pigs" (since I don't really want them calling eachother or other kids pigs). But so far it has been fine :) It's also very nice they included "Be kind to animals, they have feelings too." We say that all the time around here since we have kitties. Also the part about table manners is great since we had already been teaching the kids to ask before being excused from the table.

Manners Can Be Fun
Format: Hardcover
What a cute book! I bought it for my 2 and 3 year old boys. We are attempting to teach them simple, common manners in a fun way and they love learning through books. Manners Can Be Fun presents manners in a simple, easy to understand, engaging way. The boys enjoy reading this book and it's a great way to have positive conversations about specific situations they experience daily like sharing toys, picking up after themselves, whining, meal time. It's a fun book!

Wonderful, simple book for children of all ages
Format: Hardcover
I am 65 years old and this was one of my first books. The revisions along the way have not changed the drawings that much. It is simple, but well illustrated, and gives a basic idea of good manners. I recommend it for every child - it makes them think about behavior. The way the author demonstrates "me first" and "whinney" have stuck with me all these years.
