The Sprenger Max Control Snaffle (previously known as the Danger bit) is a unique double action locking design which looks similar to other double-jointed loose ring snaffles.
However, it is designed to be a correction or training bit that locks at a certain angle and thus becomes a straight bar.
This means that the bit acts like a normal snaffle when the horse is working correctly, but if the horse comes against the rider's hand the more intensive locking effect occurs. This is immediately released once the horse accepts the bit again.
Available in a 16mm mouthpiece, in sizes 12.5cm, 13.5cm or 14.5cm
