Demarchelier is perhaps best known for his intimate portraits of Princess Diana that helped establish her popularity and accessible public image.
Designed by the legendary art director Fabien Baron, the book simultaneously celebrates Demarchelier’s remarkable legacy as one of the most influential fashion photographers of the past forty-five years (he passed away in 2022) and offers a fresh perspective with never-before-seen photos. About The Author
Victor Demarchelier is a photographer and the son of renowned French fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier. Like his father, Victor has made a name for himself in the world of fashion photography, working with prestigious magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and GQ, as well as high-profile fashion brands. Brad Gooch is an American writer, known for his diverse body of work that includes memoirs, biographies, and novels, with notable books like Flannery and Smash Cut, which explore themes of identity, creativity, and the human experience.
