The leading edges of our cooler’s tubes are rounded to allow incoming air to pass smoothly through the core without deflection. There, the louvered fins force the air to wind through the core, increasing time in contact with the fins and improving heat transfer. Finally, the interiors of the tubes feature turbulators that increase tube surface area and agitate the oil to ensure it contacts the entire tube, further increasing heat transfer.
