Feature Overview
The Original 3/4" Convert-a-Dogs. This is our unique spin on tall bench dogs. They have a 3/4" (19.01 mm) diameter on the bottom, which will allow them to work with 3/4" bench tops. The bench dogs have the industry standard 20 mm top diameter. This will allow you to use any aftermarket accessories with them since nearly all aftermarket accessories are meant to work with 20 mm bench dogs.
These were specifically made to work with the Stanton Dog Locks
- Black anodized finish for a sleek look and long-lasting durability
- 3/4" (19.01mm) fit to allow for dog hole tolerances, works great with custom worktops
- Bench dog insert is 17mm deep, ensuring it will work with 18mm thick bench tops
- The Tall bench dogs have a 70mm shaft (+10mm stop collar)
Precision Fit
The Tool Theory line of 3/4" bench dogs have a diameter of 19.01 mm with a guaranteed +/- 0.02mm tolerance. We spent countless hours testing different diameters, and we believe that 19.01 mm allows a perfect fit for most bench tops.
Our bench dogs have an insert depth of 17 mm. We wanted to make sure that clamping knobs can be used with all of the most common depths of worktops. This ensures that you are able to use clamping knobs on 18 mm and 3/4" thick bench tops.
M8 Threading
Do you want absolutely zero movement? Our bench dogs come with an M8x1.25 threaded tap. This will allow you to use clamping knobs to secure your bench dogs to the worktop. You can purchase a set here.
