Texas Ebony Knife Scales TE-756 0.45" x 1.7" x 5" 0.3 lbs. This is a set of Texas Ebony knife scales that will make a beautiful knife handle. Each scale is .45" thick, so that the matched pair is 0.9" (or 7/8") thick. These are larger than standard knife scale dimensions, giving you the opportunity to select the best grain and color for your knife handle. This pair of knife scales has an eye-catching mix of heartwood and sapwood. The contrast is striking between the very dark brown heartwood that Texas Ebony is famous for and the light, almost ivory-colored sapwood. It will make a gorgeous knife handle. Note: The sapwood on this piece is soft and would need to be stabilized if you wish to use it. You can stabilize with thin CA glue or with Cactus Juice or its equivalent. Alternately, you can ignore the sapwood and go for a heartwood-only knife handle. I've discounted this block because of the imperfections in the sapwood. These scales have been air-dried to 8-10% moisture content. I take lots of photos, so please see the photos for close-ups of these knife scales. |

Quick to arrive, quick to disappoint

Where do I start. Well. The only thing going for this divider was the fast shipping and affordability. But please be careful with the latter. This is exactly the type of product that teaches you that you get what you pay for. The assembly was ridiculous and lacking a lot of information and the tolerances to several of the pole pieces were incorrect. It is also very flimsy when assembled and I do not recommend buying this unless you absolutely need an urgent room divider. Best to save your money and get something sturdier.

Staying in a flex bedroom for few nights and got it to get some more coverage, super fast and easy to assemble, no tools or muscles needed, just pay attention to the ends of the bars : 2 vertical bottoms were marked, 4 horizontal ends are different to be easily attached to vertical frame; very lightweight but sturdy, nice shade of gray, the room still feels bright snd spacious; matches the description
