イギリスで買い付けた、1960年代頃のクロワゾネのヴィンテージブローチ。
クロワゾネ(Cloisonné)とは、金属の上に金属線を貼って輪郭を描き、できた枠内をエナメルで埋めて装飾する技法です。
こちらのブローチは、ホワイトのエナメルを背景に描かれた草花が、ゴールドトーンメタルで絵画のように縁取られたデザイン。
スカイブルー、ダークレッド、コバルトブルーにジェードグリーン・・絶妙に調和する彩りと草花の優美な曲線が、オーバルシェイプに収められた美しいお品です。
身に纏えば、クラシカルでどこかオリエンタルなムードも漂うデザインが、装いを上品に華やがせてくれます。
経年により、ホワイトエナメル表面に僅かな汚れ、メタル表面にくすみや傷が見られます。また、ブローチ裏側のメタルに一部変色が見られます。その他、良好なヴィンテージコンディションです。
