You may have heard of absinthe referred to as the Green Fairy, but we do things a little differently at Weiss Distilling Co.

Our 121-proof, French-style absinthe is made from 100% organic white wheat distilled with five magical botanicals, including wormwood, anise, fennel, and Butterfly Peaflower. But instead of the Green Fairy, we take inspiration from Ježibaba, a mysterious forest witch and herb expert from Slovakian folklore who can be good or evil depending on how she’s treated and who is telling her story. (She’s even been known to eat fairies.)

We evoke this mysterious character with the addition of butterfly pea flower, an antioxidant-rich plant that imbues our absinthe with a deep blue color that turns pink when mixed with acid for a truly magical, one-of-a-kind drinking experience.
